1990년 보이저 1호가 우주 끝에서 바라본 지구, '창백한 푸른 점'.
그리고 지금으로부터 약 220년 뒤 인류가 맞이할 미래, '2247년'. 이번
전시는 두 개의 시간 좌표를 2026년 인천공항이라는 '지금, 여기'의
시공간에 포개어 놓습니다.
가장 멀리 떠나고 가장 멀리서 돌아오는
곳, 인천공항. 이곳은 단순한 비행기 환승지를 넘어 시간과 행성을
잇는 '우주적 환승 터미널'로 재탄생합니다. 광활한 우주 속 한 점
티끌에 새겨진 인류의 역사와, 다가올 미래의 상상이 이곳에서
교차합니다.
지구를 떠나고 마주하는 거대한 여정의 길목에서,
공항에서의 짧은 대기 시간이 우주적 시간과 연결되는 특별한 순간을
경험해 보시기 바랍니다.
"Pale Blue Dot"—the Earth captured by Voyager 1 from the edge of
space in 1990. "2247"—the future humanity will welcome about 220
years from now. This exhibition overlays these two temporal
coordinates onto the "here and now" of Incheon Airport in 2026.
As
the place of the farthest departures and returns, Incheon
International Airport is reimagined beyond a mere transit hub into
a "Cosmic Transit Terminal" connecting time and planets. Here, the
history of humanity etched onto a single speck in the vast
universe intersects with the imagination of the future.
At this
gateway of a grand journey leaving and facing the Earth, we invite
you to experience a special moment where your brief wait at the
airport connects with cosmic time.
